Sick Cat

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

Hi! This is Clouds story.

If you have any questions please ask or message me. John Adams Waco, TX. sold me a cat that is sick sick sick. He refuses to refund or replace even though I have sent him all the medical records.

He has seen vets all over Texas. He has had vets from Houston to Colorado State University look at his records. The USDA even has his records. My poor Cloud was called a genetic nightmare he has so many genetic defects.

Enlarged heart, enlarge spleen, enlarge kidney, enlarged liver, heart murmur, megacolon, and lymphoma.

After over $5,000 in vet bills I am not sure we can even save him anymore.

He doesnt breed them. They come from Puro Amor cattery aka Pure Love Cattery aka Pet World LLC aka Yulia Gonzalez out of Miami

John Adams calling my vet is unethical and shady af!

Sold me a sick kitten

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

In June of 2019 I contacted puro amor cattery (Yulia Gonzalez) after seeing her ad on a British shorthair for sale Facebook group. She had kittens and I paid 50 dollars to hold one.

Her site boasts free shipping anywhere and free month of insurance. Fast forward to June 30th when I pick up my kitten from the airport. He is covered in sores and bald spots. Can hardly open his left eye from the sore above it.

We went to the vet and he has ringworm and an upper respiratory infection. She also never vaccinated him. When I contacted her she tried to blame me, but I did not make her sell the kitten to me or put him on the plane. This woman lied to me several times.

For instance she told me when I saw a black dot on his nose in pictures she sent that “it’s just scratch from litter mate dolce.” She said his litter mate dolce is very rough and his new owners will need to get him neutered as soon as possible. But our boy “donut” is very sweet and smart. I asked if he had scratches anywhere else and she said no. I originally was going to purchase a kitten from her named Ferrari.

But from pics he looked too tiny. She told me that he was still young and showed me donut who was the biggest of his litter. And those scratches would heal quickly. I was concerned because they looked bad but I believed her that they would heal.

She also told me that Ferrari was too young to fly and wouldn’t be able to leave her care. When I went with donut she said she would keep Ferrari. The next day I asked about Ferrari again and she said he was sold. I was confused.

But she lies a lot. On the day she sent donut on a plane to us she sent a video and there were two kittens. I asked who the other one was and she said “ferrari.” You mean the one you said was too small and weak to fly? Another lie.

So now we have donut and when I told her how sick she was she says so what? No other breeder would help you with ringworm and uri. You can tell she isn’t in this business for love of her cats but for money. When I asked to exchange him she said I would have to pay for shipping back, the shipping she already paid for, and for his vet bill.

The shipping was free to me. That’s a lot of money. She also said the cats she has to exchange with are from Ukraine and they would be way worse than the one we already have. I felt like I had no choice but to keep him.

I had lost so much money already and couldn’t afford to do anything else. After some back and forth she did agree to help pay for his prescription medicines and his vet visit. I asked her to agree to continue helping pay because we don’t know how long this will take. She said she would help cover what insurance won’t and she will put the insurance in my husbands name after 30 days so we can continue using it if need be.

Now fast forward two weeks and our kitten is completely bald on top... and Yulia is conveniently out of the country on vacation. That’s another thing. When we told her we would fly and bring him back immediately she said she could not come get him.

It was one excuse after another. At the end of the day she sold us a sick kitten and I believe as many others so there is no way she did not know he was sick. She can blame her vet, the Ukraine kittens kennels, or me, but the truth is it’s her fault.

She didn’t and doesn’t take care of her kittens properly. She needs to be out of this business!

Hi there, I just saw this review and I have already deposited the 100$ and someone called me already to pick up kitten at the airport in NY this Saturday. After reading the reviews I am now skeptical about getting the cat from them. Do you think I should still go through with this or should I try somewhere else?

Hey! Just a caring bystander here.

You're better off checking somewhere else. I think it's in your best interest since you don't want to waste your money supporting such a careless business and not getting the furry friend you deserve.

Dishonest

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

We purchased a Maine Coon kitten DOB 11/01/2020 in early February 2021. The kitten was supposed to be delivered as soon as he reached 16 weeks of age.

The first two videos sent of the kitten did not look like the kitten we had purchased from her website, and we mentioned the disparities. However, we trusted her and the video of what looked like to be a second kitten appeared happy and healthy. The kitten was scheduled to transport on 3/14/21 but was rescheduled to 3/19/21. However, on 3/18/21 we received a call that the kitten did not meet the minimum weight requirement needed to board the plane.

We were told the kitten needed to gain one more pound, and that the kitten needed to be 2300 grams (approximately 5 lbs) in order to fly. In addition, she had told us the kitten was flying from Miami, but the flight details showed the kitten was coming from Ukraine. We asked for additional pictures and video while we waited. It took about a week for her to reply with a strange reason why she was unable to provide a current video: We are waiting for new videos.

Miss was moved to a breeders family member and is not comfortable at new place for the videos. We shall have updated videos in a few days. We appreciate your patience. Currently MUSA is 1850 grams weight with minimum of 2300 grams required to fly."

This is when we started to get suspicious.

I contacted several airlines, including the airline our kitten was supposed to be coming on. There is no weight minimum, only an age minimum. She then claimed that California had extra restrictions, but I researched that as well only to find out what she said was not true. She then said she would book the kitten for 4/6/21, but booked the kitten for 4/12/21, which is 6 weeks past what we were originally told.

She also sent a video of a third cat that did not look like the kitten we originally purchased or the second kitten which she had sent a video of in February. This third kitten was visibly distressed and doesn't look healthy or happy, or like a Maine Coon kitten should look like at 20 weeks old. She said she would provide professional footage of the kitten, but this professional footage also shows a distressed kitten that does not look like the kitten we originally purchased.

We decided to give her another opportunity to make good on her guarantee, we tried to be reasonable; we asked her to send current video and pictures of other Maine Coons from her website, and to send proof of pedigree. Instead, she sent other photos/videos of kittens not on her website and refused to provide proof of pedigree, stating that she only gives a copy of pedigree after we are in possession of the kitten and show proof the cat was spayed/neutered.

We were not asking for the original documents, only to view a copy of the documents. The other media she sent of other kittens appeared much older than 16 weeks old, as this is what we wanted was a 16 week old Maine Coon. We have reason to believe that some of the kittens on her website could be staged/props, and that she doesn't have access to the kittens she claims to have access to.

I thought I had done my due diligence in researching her, but realize now that I had not done enough. She also has many Facebook accounts and different business names (Pure Love Cattery, Puro Amor LLC).

I highly recommend that if you have had a bad experience to report bad businesses. Another helpful website is "Pet Scams" (dot) (com), which provides various ways to help others from being scammed. We have filed a credit card dispute. If we could trust her word, such as the kitten is a pedigree, is happy and healthy, and anything else she claims about the kitten, we would have proceeded with another kitten.

However, she did not try to build confidence when she failed to honor her contractual agreement and was dishonest.

We are very disappointed and heartbroken that we will not be receiving the kitten we had been hoping for and expecting for the last 2 months. My husband aptly referred to the whole experience as emotional terrorism.

The pictures below show the kitten we thought we had purchased (kitten #1), and pictures of the second kitten, and the third kitten (distressed) she tried to deliver to us, which she claimed the footage of all three kittens were the same original kitten.

After reading thru all the reviews, I realized that how we all have experienced similar situation. I will skip some stories that are the same with other reviews.

Long story short, I have checked with Yulia many times before buying, that if the kitten I reserved was a British shorthair, and of course she said yes, its pure British shorthair. But guys, look at the pictures I attached!! Does it look British shorthair to you guys?? and it looks totally different than the picture I saw on the website (it was a very little kitten picture which you cant really tell the breed).

And I asked her for pictures of my kittens parents.

And of course she sent me fake pictures. Why would I pay that amount of money when I could just adopt one from the local shelter if its just a domestic shorthair?

Scam Company sells sick and dying kittens

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
Puro Amor Cattery - Scam Company sells sick and dying kittens

I purchased a kitten from the Pure Love FB page. The kitten died within a few months from FIP, an always fatal disease in cats. The disease is contracted within weeks of birth, generally in places that have multiple cats and unclean conditions.

Pure Love/Puro Amor is not a breeder, she is a broker (kitten mill), her website currently lists 131 kittens of 13 different breeds, an obvious tip off.

When contacted she claimed to have no knowledge of the seller (an admin on her FB page) and told me to write a bad review (so here it is).

Avoid this kitten mill at all costs!!!!!

We bought the kitty on February 28th., she was delivered March 3rd with the pet passport. Cat has a microchip that doesnt match the microchip number on the passport.

We have been told that kitty was born 11/15/2020 but when she arrived it surprisingly looked bigger than 3 month old kitten. I texted the number we have been contacting before (832)731-**** with my questions and she was avoiding a direct answer . We took this kitty to vet today and he said that it looks like its close to 6 months old. Depending on teething and her size, but Vet said shes definitely underweight for her age.

Well at least she looked ok as it comes for her first visit to get checked. So now we dont know her DOB and we are really suspicious about those vaccinations records that passport says she has . I honestly think that kitty wasnt well taken care of and I dont even believe that she has been born in Ukraine.

Ill add pictures of texting between me and the seller so you can deside if you want to go forward with this seller. After all the kitty that we got is really affectionate and love her hew home, and well do whatever it takes to feel her stronger.

But I wouldnt be buying anything from them again and I would not recommend anyone to have business with them.

Kitten dead in 6 days.

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
Updated by user Mar 06, 2021

She is accusing us of lying and poisoning our animal. She's a monster.

Original review Mar 06, 2021
We purchased a 5-month-old Scottish Fold kitten from Yulia Gonzalez that arrived malnourished and lethargic. Once the kitten had his blood work done, the lab results showed his liver was hardly functioning with his numbers RIDICULOUSLY out of whack.

(Normal numbers being 26-157 and his were 1000).
He was then brought to an emergency vet group 2 days later and had to be put down because he had declined so rapidly. All the while, I was syringe feeding him on the bathroom floor because he wouldn't touch food or water. He didn't *** one time in the six days we had him.
We brought all of this to Yulia, and she accused us of intoxicating the cat with something, causing his liver to decline because he looked in good shape when he left her cattery. I have never experienced someone so insensitive and so twisted to blame a new pet owner of killing their own animal.
We're in a current dispute with her, and we will continue it because she does not deserve to be working with animals.

I would absolutely love if anyone who has come in contact with her or had the misfortune of receiving an animal from her to contact me at spamrubin @ gee mail dot com to share your stories as a testimony against her malpractice.
I do not wish this pain on anyone.

I don't wish this anguish on anyone. What a terrible thing.

Hello! Everybody is probably very interested in why this company does not have a link for reviews on the site and on Facebook !? Are you looking for reviews and can't find them, right? This is no coincidence, because this cattery, owned by Yulia Gonzalez, is engaged in fraud! First, she will enter you in her trust, promise you an expensive wonderful kitten, then she will show his fake (very beautiful) parents, take a deposit that is much more than what is indicated(in my case she charge me 500$ cash from hands to hands, then I found out that I have to pay only 100$, but that was too late) on her site, well, and after that difficulties will begin .. Then she will let you know that your kitten is imported from another country. Some time later you will ask for photos of your reserved kitten and if you are very lucky, she will discard them after a while. But do not be surprised that the kitten will be completely different from the kitten that you ordered and completely different from the parents, of a completely different color and will look just awful and not thoroughbred! Further, most likely, you will be disappointed, and you will ask for your deposit back, but she will begin to feed you with her rules and policy from the site, that the deposit is not refundable and you must choose another kitten from the site otherwise your deposit will burn ... Ok, you choose a new kitten and at the next day it turns out and she will said you that-this kitten is already reserved by someone, then again you choose another and then failure, he was reserved by someone an hour ago ... So I stoped at this point and lost my 500$ deposit

I asked her to take 100$ indicated as a deposit on her website and return my remaining 400$ to me.

And what you think? After that she sent me a message: Go into the *** + I will open harassment case LOL and block the phone(got all proofs and videos and messages history plus emails)

How do you like it? When someone steals your money and wants to sue you for it?

Of course she will not refund any penny..

Of course after this I stop playing her games, cuz I dont want a sick cat. Then I start searching for reviews hardly and BINGO! I found out this site.

Doing business like this is just awful and I am very surprised why it is still not closed!? I feel sorry for people who lost a lot of time and money and eventually receive sick kittens with problem documents, on which they spent money for a veterinarian and for treatment. I cant imagine how stressful is this... It is difficult to imagine how many victims are actually affected, because leaving feedback is very problematic, so not one of her resources has links for feedback and reviews, and she simply removes and blocks all comments on Instagram. This company was also known as Puro Amor cattery and after it was renamed to Pure Love Cattery. Please check added pictures. Have a good day everyone, be careful, aware and stay away from this fraudulent lady, she is a scam! You can also leave a review on google maps. People should know the truth!

I'm so mad at this breeder. I want to warn other cat lovers that never deal with her, no matter how desperately you are attracted by her website or cute kitten pictures and videos.

First, she showed me fake pictures and videos to attract me to pay the money for a $2500 kitten. After I paid my first half of the deposit, I asked a FaceTime with her, and she showed me a completely different kitten, and she said that the previous picture and video were taken by one month ago. She refused my request for a refund and said that I can exchange it with another kitten. I had no option but agreed with her suggestion.

Secondly, before I pick up my kitten, I asked for a breeder contract and health insurance and vaccine document, and she said she will have everything for me. However, the only thing I got from her was the blurred Russian paper I have posted below. I can't even read them and there's no kitten name on the paper. Third, what pissed me the most was that my kitten came sick.

I noticed a thick scar on his nose since day one I had him and 6 days later, the scar began to peel off from the skin. And it was getting worse one week later, so I took him to the vet and my vet said that it was a bacteria infection and possibly ringworm, and he tested my kitten today and I will get my test result in a week later. I texted this breeder and asked for compensation for the medical bill, but she denied everything and said my house has ringworm. Also, my vet told me my kitten Romeo is around 5 months now but this liar breeder told me he was 3 months old.

Last but not least, My kitten came with a very shy personality and he was very afraid of everything that makes me think of what kind of environment he lived before and how people treated him before. This terrible breeder has no love, no care for kittens she sells.

Also, she tells many lies to her customers. I feel so shame about her.

Illegal and inhuman sell of cats

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

Found her website, went back and forth getting information and asking questions. Everything seemed to be normal.

Put down payment for specific kitten that was said to be coming from United Kingdom. She delivered the cat herself, white Range Rover with Florida plates and atleast 8 kittens in the back seat. She gives us the paperwork and we go our separate ways. I get home and he has a Ukraine passport, brought him to the vet and he was healthy so we didnt make a fuss about the lie of where he was from.

4 months later (today) he is diagnosed with FIP. 1% of cats get this disease and 100% of cats with FIP die quickly. FIP has been brought to the attention of this lady as I see Im not the only victim of this careless, inhuman cat *trafficker* and she continues to keep making money selling infected kittens.

The money isnt the issue here for me, its the fact that there has been this many complaints in such a short amount of time and nothing is being done. I would highly advise against buying a kitten through this illegitimate scammer.

Puro Amor Cattery - We were not sure when we got out kitten from them.

My wife saw a kitten she wanted on the Puri Amor Cattery website. We finally got the cat but it was very tired and seemed something was wrong.

We took him to the Dr after he started vomiting. The vet kept him for 2 days and said his white blood count was going down and nothing worked to bring it up. The kitten died after 3 days. We told Yulia and she immediately got us a replacement kitten very close to the other one.

We are sad about the death of our first kitty. But this second one is really great. I think the lengthy trip the cats take for delivery must cause stress on the cats. Especially when transported with many other cats sometimes 2 in a box for long distances.

I don't think it is easy to sale kittens and even when they try to take precautions there still can be problems. Julia was very reasonable with us.

Pure Love Cattery sold me a Kitten for $1350. The kitten had a birth defect, 60 minutes after getting the kitten delivered, I had to take it to the emergency animal hospital where it had to be humanely euthanized for a birth defect.

I sent the cattery all detailed documentation from the doctor and hospital and they refused to return the funds per their website guarantee. Kitten did not have a sphincter in his anus to control the *** when Pure Love Cattery delivered the kitten the anus was open 1+ inches and *** bulging out and the kitten was in sever pain. Doctor did not think this was an issue that could have been solved as it was missing basic bodily capability to extract. After detailed consultation of what was best for the kitten, decision was made to euthanize.

It is animal cruelty to allow an animal to suffer in this way for a long period of time. Kitten was also on the road for weeks before delivery. They transported 2 kittens in one small carrier.

Imagine this for the entire duration. Inhumane treatment and close to cruelty
